LAKE MARTIN ANIMAL SHELTER HAPPY TAILS

See how giving life to a shelter animal has made for some happy tails. Adopting a homeless pet into a loving home is giving the gift of life.

We adopted both of our Doxie’s (mix) from the Lake Martin Animal Shelter. The first one was in October 2007, six months old and she loves her name, Meezie. Our second doxie was adopted July 3, 2015. We were ‘fostering’ him for the weekend…and you know the rest of the story. His name is Rusty. The two of them are perfect for us and for each other. Can’t imagine having one without the other.

My wife and I adopted a beautiful puppy last Friday and has brought us much joy. Thank you Mia and staff for the friendly service in helping us adopt our new little girl ( Daisy ) originally named “Dixie ” but thought she looked more like a Daisy.

Just wanted to post about our recent adoption. We adopted our newest little companion, she’s about a year old, white and tan Jack Russell Terrier mix and we named her TINK! We are so very happy with her and so very blessed to be sharing her ‘forever home’ with her. She’s fit in like a glove with us and our two other pups. Thank you Mia and the whole crew at LM Animal Shelter!!
